Day 134: El Chalten to Torres del Paine – The Last Drop of my Precious Good

Luckily the weather was really nice again when we left El Chalten and the wind was almost not existing, making it easy to drive back again to El Calafate where we stopped to fill up the bikes with petrol. And guess what else…

another amazing breakfast in the same place where we already use to eat a few days before ? The rest of the day we simply had to eat something else… a lot of kilometres! The landscape was comparably boring to what we experienced the days before…

However, our goal was to cross again the border back again into Chile and to our next destination: The famous National Park of Torres Del Paine.

We found ourselves the last few dozens of kilometres back again on gravel and the border crossing was pretty easy going. I just had to leave my glass of honey behind which I almost did not use… argh! Chile is in particular pretty heavy regulated when it comes to import of food.

We found a nice lodge in town and had a tranquilo evening with the last drops of my whisky ?
