Before we reached the ultimate bucket list destination Lençois Maranhenses we made a short pitstop in Parnaiba. Nothing special really but a fun night in a hostel together with other travellers. On the next day a “surprise” was waiting for us, lol.

Luckily the weather was really nice again when we left El Chalten and the wind was almost not existing, making it easy to drive back again to El Calafate where we stopped to fill up the bikes with petrol. And guess what else…
The same day we left the “beautiful” town of Gobernador Gregors, we arrived at El Calafate in the afternoon after mastering another dozens of kilometre on the famous route 40. Gravel of course… deep gravel… short stop, deflating tires… let’s go!!!
This morning it was time to say good bye to our friend Claudio who had to make it back to Santiago de Chile. We had a great time together and we for sure would be missing his pleasant personality.
