Luckily the weather was really nice again when we left El Chalten and the wind was almost not existing, making it easy to drive back again to El Calafate where we stopped to fill up the bikes with petrol. And guess what else…

Day 132 & 133: El Calafate to El Chalten – Trekking to Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torres
After relaxing a day in El Calafate our group decided to go back to El Chalten since so many people were so enthusiastic about the nature and the mountains.
Day 130 & 131: Gobernador Gregores to El Calafate – The Wonderful Perito Moreno Glacier
The same day we left the “beautiful” town of Gobernador Gregors, we arrived at El Calafate in the afternoon after mastering another dozens of kilometre on the famous route 40. Gravel of course… deep gravel… short stop, deflating tires… let’s go!!!

This morning it was time to say good bye to our friend Claudio who had to make it back to Santiago de Chile. We had a great time together and we for sure would be missing his pleasant personality.
