It was time to see my Brazilian friends in Campinas again where I intended to leave my bike behind and to continue my trip by bus to my final destination of the year, Rio de Janeiro.

Day 158 to 160: Sao Paulo, The 30’000 KM Milestone & DOM Restaurant
Sao Paulo, Back to where I started my trip 6 months ago. Meanwhile some more than 30’000 km on the clock and countless experiences richer. I am so grateful for all those precious moments I never even imagined would have happen to me.
Day 157: Florianopolis to Joinville – Technical Problems
I was actually a bit worried during my time on Floripa that something could be wrong with my bike. Constantly there was oil leaking out at the side of my bikes engine.
Day 152 to 156: Florianopolis – Paradise on Earth
Cachaca, beaches, nature, turqouise coloured lagoons, perfect nightlife and beautiful people…
Day 151: Punta del Este to Porto Alegre – Chuva da Merda!
I should have stayed in Uruguay for at least another day. The weather was just beautiful and the town of Punta del Este was just phenomenal… a bit touristy but great for chilling out in one of the plenty of bars, cafes or restaurants.
Day 79: Chucchilan to Puyo – From the Andes to the Amazon
The weather changed drastically and I got greeted by a beautiful sunny morning in the mountains. I was really tempted to stay longer at the magical place and do some hiking around the area but “unfortunately” I had a tight schedule and needed to be back in Lima already the next week.
